Cecilia Rose Turns Six Months Old!

Our little girl is getting bigger and older by the minute! She has such a little personality and although I could do without teething (she cut her first tooth last Thursday), she is one of the best things to happen to Matt and I! Here is our little cutey in action!

Beach Day!

Memorial Day weekend was a weekend of firsts for Cecilia. Not only did we go to Disney for the first time, but we spent a good part of Monday at the beach! Cecilia was able to try out the swimsuit that Grandma Rose got for her, as well as see how she liked the water!

the Storm

Whew! Last night was impressive! There was a huge storm that rolled through around 11 PM - 60 mph winds, rain horizontally so hard that it came through our closed windows, and something ridiculous like 20K lightning strikes in our county in a half hour. (Yay for being the lightning capital of the world). Anyway, here are some of the "day after" shots.

Our neighbor's fence blew over - sheared the 4"x4" posts right off at the base.

The leaning tower of Pisa has nothing on what these swallows had to put up with.

One of our neighbors lost a pretty big tree too - the stump just twisted around on itself and sheared....

Cecilia's First Disney Day

Although Cecilia had been to Disney in the womb, this was her first time there since she was born! It was a big trip that we had been planning with Katy for a while now...no expectations, just ears, pictures with Mickey and a little fun. It ended up raining a bit so it cut our day a little short. It was also Memorial Day weekend, so it was really crowded in the parks. No worries. There will be other days! Here are the highlights!

It is so fun to do things to kids while they are sleeping.
