Baby Its Cold Outside-and Inside!

Y'all might think it never gets cold in Florida, but we did have a cold snap right after the New Year. It was chilly outside, but also a little bit chilly inside for Cecilia. We needed to keep her little hands warm, so we put her mittens on in the house! Our little bundled cutie pie! Incidentally, did you know that infant mittens do not have thumbs? I never knew that!

New Year's Recovery

Since our New Year's was so exhilarating, we needed some down time to recover.

Cecilia's Baptism

On December 30th, our little lady was welcomed into the family of God. We were so happy and excited for her! It was small as many friends and family are far away. Know that we missed you terribly and wished you could have been there! More pictures are on the way, so check back later!

Crazy Birds

I just can't get over the Florida wildlife- in my own backyard! New Year's Eve was pretty uneventful. Cousin Katy joined us for Happy New Year and so did these birds! They were in our backyard and HUGE! They were the size of a small child, seriously. Grandma took pictures of these creatures. And of course, we couldn't have a post without Cecilia looking cute! Thanks Great Grandma D and Aunt Laura for my "Little Lady" sleeper!

Cecilia is one month old!

Cecilia, Momma, Grandma Roseann, and Auntie Steph went on a field trip to JC Penny and had a little photo fun with Cecilia! She wore her Christmas dress (thanks Great Aunt Laura and Great Grandma D!) as well as had the blanket that cousin Katy got her for her baptism! It was a lot of fun! This is how it turned out:
