Cousin Beth was in Orlando with some friends, so she and Katy came over for dinner tonight. We hung out, saw some manatees, and then I went to bed. It was great to finally meet Beth!

Ben's Catfish

Ben, being the avid outdoorsman that he is, couldn't resist the allure of the lake behind our house. So religiously, we went out fishing (once). After a varied array of bluegill, just as we were packing up, we chucked some bread off the dock and a big ol' catfish gobbled it up. After a few moments of breadballing and poking around with the line, Ben landed this daddy. The catfish fought for a bit - even took the line underneath the dock - but in the end, we were able to drag the fish up on shore. Mmmm, dinner!

The first night we were in Chicago, Cecilia gave Mommy and Grandma a little treat...she rolled over! But we have been trying since then to catch her in the act! I finally got her mid roll, but also got some great tummy time footage. Enjoy!

Mommy's New Hair!

Well, it has been almost six months now that I have had my little lady out and about in the world with me. And, it didn't take long for me to start developing what I feared most.....mommy hair! So with Lisa Stroz's help, I now have a short, great for Florida, fun and exciting haircut! Maybe I just like it so much because it is a little different from before. But I had a request to post it, so here it is! Thanks Lisa!

This is a self portrait. And it is about 30 minutes before I went on a walk with Cecilia and got sunburned. Darn you sunscreen! I need to remember to start wearing you again!

Bumbo!

I am pretty sure the Bumbo is still the best thing ever for babies! It has brought a smile to my face more than I could imagine! Little kids are just so stinkin cute in them! This little onsie was brought to you by our dear friend Jen Willeke. It is just the right size now, thanks Jen!

I think I should enter her in the cutest baby contest, seriously.
