Dang, Check You Out!

No, not you, our little one!

Thanks Auntie Amy for my outfit!

A future in cheerleading?

ILLINI are number ONE!

Just the Toys and Me

Hey, waddup ya'll? Caught this vid of Cecilia playing around on the living room floor - figured we should probably stop hoarding it to ourselves and let ya'll take a look.

Later!

Remember when?

Remember when you were little and in the tub, and you used to make a unicorn horn out of your shampooed hair? Well, our little lady definately has enough hair, so Momma thought she would try it out. It was way too much fun, though I don't think Cecilia really knew what was going on!

What's with the hair mom?

Do you mind, I am trying to take a bath?

All soaped up!

One of the happiest babies ever!

Ok, its getting kinda chilly. Thanks for the photos Katy!

In the Hot Spotlight

Papa was fooling around with his new computer tonight, and decided to give Moviemaker a little test drive. So I know these photos are already up - our 24 May 08 post - but I thought I'd publish the vid anyway. What do you think - some of these pics are worth seeing twice, right?

Oh yeah, its always fun getting comments, so comment away ya'll! Let me hear ya holler back now!

It's been fun as always, but this dude needs some sleep. Peace out (and God Bless ya)!

Father's Day

Guess what I did this Father'd Day? I convinced Momma to do this crazy dance, and videotape herself doing it! Note that she seems to be having way more fun than I am.

Shhh, don't tell her that I posted it online, alright?

Besides Papa and I having a good laugh over my dancing Mamma video,

Mamma and I also got Papa a present for Father's Day.

I made this cool wrapping paper. OK, so maybe Momma helped a little, but....

Check out what we got him! Pretty cool gift, huh? Now he can keep his workbench in the garage clean!

Yardwork in Style

You know, there are some pretty rockin' things that come along with living in FL. I mean, we got beaches up the wazoo, we got some sun, we have that awesome sea breeze, a few gators here and there. Oh, rednecks too, felt like KY just up and moved down the road when I moved here...

But one of the things Carly and I enjoy the most is the wide variety of tropical plants and just the outdoor beauty of this area. Granted, we experience it mostly in the context of landscaped yards, but give a guy his moment to talk without interrupting, aight? Carly and I spend lots of evenings walking around the neighborhood just looking at the palm trees and flowers and all, just talking and stuff.

So we were very excited when our landlord agreed to let us do a bit of landscaping in the backyard. Which translates to: I've been busy for a few weekends in a row now, digging out some flower beds, mulching, and pricing different options to get the best deal. I'm one of those guys that would much rather be outside sweating and dirty than inside and sitting around, so it's been fun - and a bit tiring too.

Well, the final product isn't quite ready for public display yet - but its close. Real close. In the meantime, you can enjoy my "get 'er done" attitude, hauling mulch in my faithful Shotty (that's the name of my '98 'stang).

(and for those of you that remember what her other side used to look like - fear not, I still haven't fixed it.)

Seaworld

I took the day off on Friday so that we could meet up with the Peppers for another day while they were down here in FL. They had just spent the last two days trompin' around Disney (Epcot & Animal Kingdom) - so on Friday, we decided to head to Seaworld. Along with us were the Halls, long-time friends of the Peppers.

We had a fun, long day. For the majority of the day, we went to shows (the dolphin show, the sea otter show, shamoo, etc) On a brighter note, the park was sponsored by Annheuser, so there was a free beer place that made up. Righteous.

There was one roller coaster we went on - and a huge surprise - one of the better coasters I've ever been on! It was called Kraken, very cool. After the first uphill, the thing didn't stop cork-screwing and flipping upside down until it was over. Very cool.

This pic was from the third time we rode - after we had figured out where the camera was and all decided to stick out our tongues when we went past.

I'm Gonna be a Supermodel!

We just went to JC Penny for Cecilia's 6 month pictures. We were a little bit late, but it went so well! Look out, in about 18 years we will have a little supermodel on our hands!

the Girls and Me

The Pepper girls were very excited to meet me. We had lots of time playing together, holding eachother, eating....

Mia and I got to hang out for a bit. She told her parent's that meeting me would be like meeting her younger sister.
And we even have the same clothes! (Note the subliminal message "We can go to the mountains")
Anna was nice and fed me a bottle once in a while.

Watch out world, heartbreakers on the loose!

At the Beach with the Peppers

The Peppers - our good friends from CO - were in to stay with us for a few days. So, we had to take them to the beach (we do live next door to Cocoa Beach, you know). Papa took off work and we all headed out for a lazy Monday.

We gave Cecilia another shot at the water. She loved being out in the ocean breeze....

but I guess she's going to stick to solid land for a while longer....

Cecilia's Saturday

A few pics of our little gal - enjoy!

And after a hard days work, nothing's better than coming inside and sucking on my big toe....
