Brevard County Strawberry Festival

Living in Florida has been like no other place I have ever been before. It seems to me that there is a festival for everyone's liking and suits all tastes and interests. Besides the corn festival, which mark my words we will go to one year, there is the Strawberry Festival. It is that wonderful time of year when our little red fruit friends are in season, muy tasty, and really cheap at farmer's markets and your local grocery store. Everyone who is anyone knows that Plant City is the best festival to attend in honor of our red friends, however since it is a bit far away for this pregnant lady with a toddler, we decided we would go to the next best thing. The Brevard County Strawberry Festival. No, there were no pig races, no crazy fiddlers, however there was a rockin DJ and mullets to be seen. Katy came with us and as our official photographer, was able to catch some of Cecilia's highlights for her first time around.

After consuming several chocolate covered strawberries, ice cream, and even a strawberry "smoothie", we went home, enjoyed a new twist on a good old polish meal, and Katy gave Cecilia a bath all on her own! What a day....full happy stomachs and a clean sleeping baby.

Hmm...what is this? Where did the chocolate go?

Another bite...sans chocolate.

We missed, let's try again.

Cecilia's verdict. The face says it all.

The Chick-Fil-A Cow! Nose!

We would be remiss if we did not visit our local firemen, I mean firetrucks on display.

Ring my Bell!
(Note the scraped knee. The first of many in the last week.)

I am a dancing machine!

Cecilia with Momma.

We thought it was funny that the tire was taller than she was!

Back at home and wanting to play with Katy's camera.

Unicorn bath hair! Ha ha ha ha..
