Almost There!

Ever since the day she was born, Miriam has decided to be an over achiever. She was moving her head from side to side at two days old...picking up her head a few weeks later, and now she is trying to roll over at only 10 weeks old. Now maybe these things are normal, and I am just being a "look at what my kid can do" mom, but I think it is pretty neat. For those that didn't believe me, here are the pictures to show that she is really trying her hardest to get on that tummy!

Friends At Our Place

Momma invited my friend Jax over, so we got to play for a while. He just lives down the street. I showed him all my toys. And then we ran around the house and chased each other and cracked ourselves up. And I'm pretty sure Mommy might be crazy by now too. Oh well!

On the Beach!

So we decided to hit the beach some today with cousin Katy. Quite a fun day - but I forgot to throw the umbrella into the car, so we had to improv a sunshade out of towels to keep Miriam shaded. But still fun - the waves were super high, so we ended up doing some body surfing too!

Miriam and her Big(ger) Sister

Cecilia has been discovering her little sister more and more each day. She loves to play with her and share toys, but sometimes does so, well, too vigorously. She also likes to pick up Miriam's pacifier when it falls out, and well, jam it back in. But other than these times, two little angels!

Two Months old and Counting

Our littlest lady turned two months old this past Sunday....my how quickly time goes by! She is smiling, giggling and enjoying her older sister. These pictures only shed a small amount of light on how sweet Miriam truly is. She is so laid back and cooperative...just what a mommy needs!

Mommy Cecilia

Cecilia has become quite the imitator lately.....she has been doing everything I do....literally. Here is the latest. I found her on the rocker with the boppy. So cute! Not until you're a mommy though little girl!

Our House!

So we moved in on 20 Apr 09, and I don't think we've even posted pics yet! Things were a bit crazy then (ref the blog posts) - but anyway, here is our house from the outside!

We like it a lot - bigger than our last house and still quite nice. Only drawback, we're farther from where I work (about 40 min drive each way) and we are also on the mainland vs. the barrier island (merritt island), which means hotter weather, less wind, and farther from the beach.




We also got the sweet hook up of having a neighborhood pool. I'm sure you've seen a bunch of pics of Cecilia having fun in it, so needless to say, definite perk. We go here lots.

At the Pool with Grammie

We love going swimming this summer, especially when we have guests over! We went to the pool a lot while everyone was in town, and this was one time when we were at the pool with Grammie and Auntie Steph! Momma even got to get into a swimsuit (eek!) and get in the water with me! It was so much fun! I think Grammie fell in love with our pool while she was here. She keeps telling Momma how much she wants one.

Shuttle Launch, Finally!

The shuttle FINALLY took off...and it was a great evening for it! We just watched from the backyard though as it was the night before mom and Steph left as well as we had two unhappy kiddos that were way too close to bed time.
