Sewing Lessons

While Grammie was here, of course lots of sewing happened. I think that is just something that spontaneously happens when my mother comes to town or is within a reasonable distance of a sewing machine. Sewing projects just have a way of getting done. So besides Cecilia's valance, a curtain to cover the storage area above her closet, binding my denim quilt, making a quilt top, long arm quilting it, and binding that one too....my mom started to give Cecilia a few sewing lessons. It was really cute to see her on the machine!

Let's see how this thing works.

Here are the fabric triangles....

There are some pins.....

Put them together....

Push a few buttons....

And we can't forget the thread!

Thanks Grammie! I had so much fun (and didn't break Mommy's machine either)!
