Camping in Big Sur, CA

It was my last weekend in Cali, so obviously we had to have some fun. A couple of the guys from my flight decided to head up to Big Sur, CA for a weekend of camping and hiking. The trip up there was right along the Pacific Coast Highway, which is a road literally carved into the cliffs along the Cali coast. Pretty sweet. So we camped in a redwood forest and did some hiking, cliff jumping, chilling, drinking beer, and other rockin stuff. Check out the pics.

The redwood forests...

A beach along our hikes...

Yep, that's a turkey!
We found this ginormous tree fallen over a pool in the river we hiked along for a bit, and so...

Along the PCH on the drive home

Elephant seals - one of the few mainland places in the world where elephant seals come (they usually only go to remote islands to avoid predators) - right along the PCH
