Sometimes Papa works a little late, and in the last week or two this has been more the rule than the exception. I understand that things get crazy over there at the Cape, so we just try to roll with the punches. I was making dinner for Matt and I (well prepping it at least) and started feeding Cecilia dinner as it was getting late. We try to eat together every night, but well, let's be honest, it doesn't happen all the time. Miriam was being extra cute and Cecilia was singing the chicken song I made up to help her eat when she gets picky. It is very versatile and can work for anything. Gosh, the things you do for your kids :)
Oh my, it's the camera. I am entranced by technology.
Miriam at 5months old! How my little girl is growing!
Still deer in the headlights, but it works for her.
Of course there were pictures of Cecilia too. She is eating mushroom wild rice.
And she liked it!
Look at all those teeth! There are more on the way too!
This is the famous chicken song. You can really insert any food into this nice melody and sing to your heart's content, or until they start eating the subject of your song. It instantly changes Cecilia's mood and her appetite!
Chicken, you are so yummy!
I want to eat you!
Get in my tummy!
I love you chicken!
