Visit to Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Hale's

Matt had Columbus Day off (yay military!) meaning a three day weekend for us. We haven't seen Great Grandma and Grandpa Hale in a while, and they hadn't met Mir, so we decided to take the girls on our first road trip/overnight together. We were only spending two nights there, but you would think we were moving in. We had to pack a lot of stuff, toys, and things to do in the car, but thankfully we managed the three hours and some change car ride. It was really hot, so we weren't able to go outside much. There was a huge sudden rainstorm on Sunday evening though and we made sure to play in the puddles and the rain when it slowed down a bit. We need to get those pictures from Gram and Gramps to post! It was great to see them even if just for two days! Thanks for being such great hosts! Hope to see you soon!
